Our Purpose is to act as a not-for-profit organization with a primary mission of promoting the health of Nantucket Islands Harbor and its marine ecosystems. We will work with the Nantucket Department of Natural Resources and other governmental and nongovernmental organizations, groups and individuals in furtherance of our primary mission and other activities.
Great Harbor Yacht Club Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization.
Improving the quality of our Harbor’s water and marine habitat is possible.
We are supported by scientific advisors with experience in eel grass, water quality, and shellfish population rehabilitation. With their guidance, we are focused on a healthier future for Nantucket Harbor.
